Brazilian playmaker Philippe Coutinho is still seeking to force the move to Barcelona, according to reports.

The player is pained that Liverpool did not agree to the move before the deadline lapsed. If Coutinho moves to the Nou Camp, he would play a central role behind Lionel Messi and recently acquired Ousmane Dembele while taking over from Andres Iniesta.

Coutinho is 26 years but he could play top level attacking football in Spain for the next four to five years. He wants the dream move; he sees himself there but Anfield doesn’t want him to exit. There are reports that the player might exclude himself from Champions League football duties with the hope of joining Barcelona in January.

Barca made three bids for the player but Jurgen Klopp and the Liverpool owners FSG refused to accept even when the player handed a transfer request. Atanasio Girardot Sports Complex saw Biggest Name in Football History

It’s always nice to see Footballers do something for the welfare of the people.

One such occasion was yesterday at Atanasio Girardot Sports Complex when some of the biggest names in the game took the pitch to play a friendly game to raise funds for the charity organisation of the Colombian winger Juan Cuadrado.

The game took place between Pogba XI and Cuadrado XI and eventually it was the former which ended up as the winners by a fair margin of 3 goals, but, the result was totally irrelevant. The game was more about having fun for both the spectators and the players and everybody indeed had great fun right through the course of the contest.

Pogba was the most famous name on display and majority of the spectators had gathered in the anticipation of a great show from him. Barcelona focusing on themselves

Luis Enrique said that Barcelona is not focusing on the Real Madrid at the moment and that they are more interested in winning the last game of the season.

Indeed they will be playing against Eibar at the Camp Nou for the last of game of the current campaign, and they know that a win might not be enough to prevent Real Madrid from clinching a first title since 5 years.

Barcelona was hoping that they could win a third title in a row, but at the moment their destiny is not in their own hands. They will have to get maximum points in the last game of the season and hope that Real Madrid drops some points in the remaining game of the season.

Luis Enrique said that he is not concerned about the results of Real Madrid and that he is more interested in how his team is playing. He admitted that things are difficult now, but they will have to focus on having a good result against Eibar first.

Five-time Ballon d’Or winner Lionel Messi has broken yet another club record when he netted in the 3-0 rout of Athletic Bilbao over the weekend.

The Barcelona superstar was on the goalscorers’ sheet, helping the Catalan giant put pressure on Real Madrid in the La Liga.

Since his move from Valencia last year, Paco Alcacer scored his first for the club when he connected to a pass from Brazilian forward Neymar. Alcacer opened the scoring for the hosts in the 18th minute. The goal was spectacular and worth the wait for the centre forward that has not yet lived up to his billing since his move to the Nou Camp. Suarez praises Messi

Barcelona striker Luis Suarez has praised Lionel Messi’s performance in the match against Espanyol.

He said that Messi is a talented player and that he does tricks that no one else can do. He said that it is as if you are playing with a PlayStation character in real life.

Indeed Lionel Messi has been outstanding in the match against Espanyol and has created some great opportunities for Luis Suarez. The latter said that if it were not for Messi, it would have been difficult for him to score some of the goals.

Luis Suarez said that Lionel Messi is a unique talent and that he makes things become simple on the pitch.
